 Hi Brigitte, 

It’s Tim, thank you for your last letter, your support touches me, 
it’s nice of you to be there for me.
Here in Paris it’s really shit, with the fucking Corona! LOL.
I hope you are well. I have just come back from sport, so now I am relaxed.
I will cook potatoes, with chorizo, green peppers and onions (delicious) - for jail LOL.
Anyway be sure you comply with lockdown, take care of yourself, 
I hope to hear from you very soon.
I kiss you tenderly from this cell which looks like a dungeon!  :)

 Hello from London again. 

Tim I am writing a new book with my friends. 

The title is “Connecting through Corona” and my chapter is called
“Locked up and locked down"”. 

Your letters inspire me, and also Tupac (I have listened to “So many tears”).

Hi Brigitte, it's Tim.
I have received your letters and cards and I thank you for that!
How are you here in London?
For us here the visits have started again, and some activities.
Today my friend Ola is being transferred to Fresnes.
I am happy for him, but I will miss him... I was doing sport with him in the courtyard
and he is my friend.
Otherwise it's still the same here, I cook green peppers, tomatoes, garlic, onions, chicken,
potatoes...etc… The usual. I have until 8 May 2021, it will go quickly! I have many other friends here. We still keep our spirit and, to tell you the truth, we also laugh a lot.

Lots of kisses and thank you for your support.

    Caring heart-centred messages that cut through the barrier of confinement - whether in lockdown or jail. It is possible to stay connected even when separated by distance or bars.

THE GIFT OF HISTORY

Doug Dunn    The last time I studied history was 50 years ago. My teacher seemed to encouraged seemed my history class learn dates and important facts by heart. I remember listening to him read the French Revolution textbook while underlining the important bits. After two years I learned enough of European history to pass the exam. After school the only other history class I attended was at university where the history of science was part of my Astrophysics course. That was more of an inquiry than parrot learning and more interactive. After my school and university I had no more history education in that subject.
