Parasite by Clara olde Heuvel

Parasite -  by Clara olde Heuvel ©

It nestles itself inside your body
Planning to never leave you again

It eats from you
Takes love from you
and breathes from you

In the end it steels from you

Never thinking about owing

something back

Emotionally-wise
Money-wise
Goody-wise
Mentally-wise

There are several parasites
on this planet

Go back and think about how they've entered
your body

Didn't you have any self-love and
were you so relieved that some truly loved you?

Was this real love?
Or were they in fact in greater need for love than us?

The medallion is always two sided
Like every relationship is two sided.

Always think twice

and never blame anyone.
