The wedding duck by Clara olde Heuvel

The wedding duck by Clara olde Heuvel ©

The duck is wearing a
long white gown

she is moving towards the wedding of her own
on a lake unknown
Making herself on
her way to not get astray
and meets a beautiful
swan
and an ugly duck
not to be drawn
she decides she will
wait as long as she finds her dream
duck

although she knows
it can take quite some time
till you have found the one to put up with
that is definitely not a
myth

still she keeps waiting
full of hope

one day

she awakens from her duck sleep

and sees the years
that she has waisted
waisted with waiting

Life is now
it struck her as a
a thunderbolt

therefore just allow.
