Sacramental Day - Clara olde Heuvel ©

Honouring the dead
What does that even mean?

We give them a whole day

The memory stays

The loving memories
are in our hearts forever and always

The deceased are not dead

They only transmuted in time and space

They are among us

observing and protecting us

like angels

They accompany us

On our way

of Life and Love

I thank dearly
my best friend who sadly
had to pass away in 2010

and my loving grandmother
who we took care of almost one decade
in our own home

Certainly I also thank my grandparents
of my fathers side

and all my great(great)grandparents

who have preceded me

and who took part in who I am now.
