Wearing a mask - Clara olde Heuvel

Wearing a mask

Going to work with a mask

A new experience since September

Talking with eachother

through a mask

Always only seeing people's eyes

Without seeing their whole facial expression

Is that hard or a nuicance?

Maybe…

Although when you look at their eyes

You know their facial expression

Cause it shows beyond their masks

When they're smiling

And you can hear them laugh (loud) beyond Wearing that mask

We seem to pay respect to other details

While being in Lockdown

Don't we?

We look at people's eyes

At them frowning their eyebrows

Watching their forehead wrinkles

Listen to their tone of voice

Watch their gestures

And body postures

We get used to it

It is possible to get used to something

That's what corona has shown to us

We're able to adapt as human beings

And that's good to know

For the future…
